I made these bracelet and earrings for a friend. She just loved my necklace and I thought they would be the perfect "thank you" gift for her.
I also made the clasp myself, and worked with copper wire, fire polished beads and polymer clay beads.
My designs are handmade and unique. Please do not use my photos unless you have written permission from me. Feel free to be inspired by my work. But if the changes made to your design are not significant, please remember and acknowledge where the inspiration came from. Thank You!

A Birthday Gift
I made this gift for a friend. Her birthday was a few days ago but I will see her on Friday. She wanted something red.
I hope she likes it. I have made a chain attachment with a clasp so she can wear it short or long.

My Dear Friend's Choice
Yesterday I met with my dear friend. We had a lot to talk about since we had not gotten together for over six months. Between her travels, mine and my pregnancy we had not been able to set some time aside for us. We caught up; we went together to a personal activity we share and after that lunch. I had a great salad and some fruit. It was a wonderful morning!
Now back to jewelry... this is the set she picked out. I have to admit that this is the one I thought she would. It looked fantastic on her. I am glad she is taking a little reminder of me when she leaves town. I will miss her and always have her in my heart. And of course, there are phones, and she will be coming to visit some family every once in a while.

This set is made of fancy marble beads and sterling silver chain, spacers and beads. And of ccourse, SS wire. The clasp is handmade.
These are the matching earrings. Not that you need me to tell you this.... :)

Autumn Jasper
I have been pretty busy doing some fall cleaning and organizing in my house. God knows we need to make space, recycle things that others can use and declutter. I had not been able to sit in my studio until yesterday.
What better stone to make a set in autumn? Well, this set started as a gift for a dear friend. When I finished it, I loved it but it did not seem to match with her. I ended up making another set. Since I like this one so much, I will let her choose.

Copy Me Design Challenge by Gaea
Gaea posted a picture of this bracelet and encouraged copying her design either way our muse would take us.
She distributed a kit to 6 participants. I was not one of them because I signed up after a bunch of people, but my first chore was to put a similar kit together. So I used ceramic beads, fire polished beads, brass tone chain and wire and a metal focal with holes on each side.
I liked the way she used her ceramic beads right into her focal, this I copied. I also liked the multiple strands of chain and used them on one side of the necklace.
I saw red or brown glass beads attached to the chain in her original design, so I use fire polished glass and added blue because I just felt like it. I also attached my clasp to the back, yet kept the asymmetrical design in my creation as well.
You can see that is a different creation from Gaea's, yet the inspiration and similarities are there. I hope you like it.
Here is a list of other participants:
Lorelei
Michelle
Erin
For My Sweet Daughter
SueBeads
Spirited Earth
Malin de Koning

Metal And Glass Come Together
I also made this necklace on Saturday. It is made from metal chain and glass beads. The clasp is handmade using gold plated wire and it hooks into the Metal Flower.
I have used some of my big link chain in this project to give it some fun and assymetry.

Not a Plan Anymore - Fruits From my Planning
As I have said before, I have many things to do. I could be making jewelry all day long and not get tired but then my "To Do" list gets extremely big. So I just made 3 pieces of jewelry, more tomorrow.
This is a silver plated peach marble bracelet with metal clasp.

I've had this bracelet in my mind since my FMG order arrived. I am glad I finally cleared that space so that more inspiring projects can fill it up again.
This next necklace is also made from Italian Onix from my FMG order, metal chain and charm. I have made the clasp myself using antique gold plated wire.
Here are some closeups:

A Bracelet with One of My PC Beads
This bracelet is made using one of my PC rondelles from yesterday. It is made with copper wire, metal chain, glass beads and stone focal.
It measures 8 ½ ” and fits a 7-8” wrist. Mine is a 7” and it fits loosely, but that is how I like to wear them.

My Tree of Life (Smaller)
I had cut some wire for the other peendant but it was too short. So I finally found a smaller round sized item to make a 1 1/8" diameter and made this second one.
Here are the 2 sizes. The big one is 1 1/2" in diameter and the small one 1 1/8". In centimeeters they are about 4cm and 3cm.
This one took me a little over half an hour to make. Once you get the hang of it they are made fast!
The Project in My Hands - My Tree of Life Pendant
This project has gone from my mind, through my crafty hands, and this is the result.
I followed a mix of tutorials. The links are on my Tree of Life Pendant Post. It took me about an hour or less to make. And I kept on getting up to search for missing things I needed for the project. Be sure to have a ruler or a way to measure, all your pliers, your chips and both gauge wire. And most important of all, whatever you are going to use to make the initial ring (I used a flashlight).

More from Challenge Swap 5 - My Focal: Wood Marble
I was looking at a book at Barnes&Noble because I wanted to buy one. None of them were worth buying, but they all had one good idea that took me back to my stash and illuminated my creation. I do not like to copy models, but I do like some ideas of a piece of jewelry that take me to my own creation. That is what I call inspiration.
I am still planning on buying a book, because I also like to buy books compulsively, not only beads. But it will be when I get back home. I found a scarce display of jewelry books at this B&N. Nothing that I would kill for.
So, this is necklace is made with materials from the challenge swap and my stash. It has nothing to do with the necklace I saw in the book, aside that the one in the book had a square wood focal and mine has a Wood Marble oval donut style focal.

It is made of beads from my stash: fire polished glass beads, wood marble focal, dyed agate, orange glass bead, metal chain, copper wire and handmade copper clasp. From the Challenge: dyed agate and blue stone (Dagi thinks it's Turquoise). I Edit: Kokopelli has posted it is dyed howlite
Matching Earrings are made with Dyed Agate from my stash and challenge kit, metal ear hooks from the Kit, glass beads and metal chain from my stash. Ohhh... and copper wire from my stash.
I also edit: You do see that the left one is missing a link, right? Thanks to the picture I corrected this mistake. The link had disappeared from the tray, and I just finished them without even noticing what I was doing. This is the problem of working with poor light. I am glad to be back home soon with all my lamps and my confortable chair.

More from Challenge Swap 5 - Carnival Over Black & White
Yesterday morning I started this project, but ran out of silver plated wire.
It is made from MOP and lava beads from the swap. The big black stone, the small black stones and the beads and metal charm that form the cluster are from my stash.

I had lots of fun making this bracelet and earring set. But I did have to play around a little bit with the earrings.

A Project in My Mind - Tree of Life Pendant
I was looking at the reader's showcase in the beading daily forums, and Cat's Tree of Life Pendant caught my attention. I just thought that I would love to have one, and I have all the materials.
Beading Daily Link: http://www.beadingdaily.com/forums/t/8891.aspx

Wednesday's Bag Charms / Key Chains
A day late I post what I made yesterday. I am really having fun making these. After I finish them, I will still have to make the cards/displays, put them in baggies and tie a nice bow around them. This is why I said I had to start early.

Now One for My Mum
My mother saw the last set I published, and fell in love with it. She wanted something pink, so we chose a pink color combination and this is what came out. I do not like to make necklaces that look so alike, but who can say no to mom? I cannot. She is really a wonderful mom, and deserves to be happy.

Now the Necklace for The Whole Set
Here is the necklace. I finished it after getting up several times. I am having back pain and I cannot sit for more that 20 min. Imagine how bad that is for jewelry making.
