My Workspace/Studio = Table

I live in a small apartment, so I do not really have a studio but a table that I call my workspace.  Well, it is now invaded with diapers and it has become some sort of storage for a changing station.

I do not look forward to beading much for a while, and the good news is that it's easy to get my beading table back, I just need to move a box and My table is there again for my beading.

I still have some beading projects I want to finish, some earrings and a bracelet as a gift for a friend, some Bag Charms and some Key Chains.  It just seems so difficult to do my daily chores, that there is no time for beading.  I also need to rest a lot and I am usually napping for about 2 hours in the afternoon.  Even sitting and writing is a challenge.

I did manage to organize my beads and all my materials pretty well.  Not as perfect as I had wanted to organize them but well enough to have a tidy table and free up much needed space.  I had to compromise with myself and accept this imperfect arrangement in order to have some order.  I am proud of myself and the work I carried out Sunday Morning.

  1. It looks wonderful!
It's both orderly and arranged, yet also flexible at a moments notice (and that's no easy balance to achieve)~ well done!

  2. That's great a jewelry desk/changing table! I wonder if we could sell that idea to Babies r us?!
My daughter is almost 18 months old now and I kind of miss the days where I had to nap when she napped. I hated that she was up all night but I loved napping with her on my days off. Now she is a big girl and wants to nap in her "kreeb". Enjoy these days they really do go way too fast!
